Schedule XML Comparison Tool (v8.1.1)

Instructions and requirements
  1. Confirm that the Current and Next XML files have been published to their respective dated folders in the Sitecore Media Library. The files must be publicly accessible for the comparison tool to work.
  2. Enter the Next and Current XML folder names and filename prefixes.
  3. Paste XML filenames or route identifiers, then select Format route list to sort and validate them.
  4. Select Compare Schedules.
  5. Review the salmon-highlighted manual changes and update the corresponding route configuration JSON files. Turn off the filter to see all XML differences.

Next service change

Current service change

Enter the dated folder and XML filename prefix for each service change. The Next files are compared against the Current files.

Paste XML filenames copied from Finder, full paths, or comma-separated route identifiers. Select Format route list to extract, sort, and check the identifiers before comparing.

Comparison results

Compare the next service change with the current service. Salmon highlights identify fields that require manual updates to route configuration JSON files; yellow highlights show other XML differences. The report initially displays manual changes only.
